Synopsis:

“All you need is a Dream, a Theme, and a boost of Self-Esteem.” Stricken, but not struck down by a slough of mental illnesses, Jimmy Leung's drive to be an action movie star becomes something of a reality as he and director Ryan Flowers train to become healthy, stable, and make a movie together.

Ryan Flowers directs this charming documentary account of his friendship with Jimmy Leung, who dreams of becoming the next James Cameron despite his daily struggles with mental illness.

Jimmy Leung's motto is simple: dream, scheme, and self-esteem. His goal is to make movies like his hero James Cameron and meet Arnold Schwarzenegger — but Ryan Flowers is the only filmmaker Jimmy knows. His insistence that they work together yielded this insightful and humorous documentary about friendship, ambition, and Jimmy's daily battles with mental illness.
